Site MapJ.R. Miller D.D was considered by many to be the most gifted and popular devotional writer of his era. There are several sources, on the Web, for Miller’s works, but non is complete, so I felt it incumbent on me to gather all his works into one place. I have given due credit to these sources on separate pages. When I started this project, I did not realize the size of the task. During his lifetime Dr. Miller wrote over 80 books and pamphlets. My list of these works grows each month. So far I have collected only a few of his books and only two dozen have been published electronically. It might take several years to gather all of his works and publish them on the Web. The following is the current index to all works on this site. There are now over 1,800 chapters of Rev. Miller’s works on line. The following index lists every work we have online, except for ‘Silent Times’ and ‘Devotioanal Hours with the Bible’ which are in progress. Trying to index an incomplete book can lead to errors. Trust me on this one. Book Titles and Chapter HeadingsSorted AlphabeticallyIf a book, booklet, or pamphlet uses chapter headings, those headings are in in this list. Also in this list are book and pamphlet titles. Initial definite and indefinite articles are moved to the end of the title. So only a few have chapter headings. The ones that have none are listed below. The ones that do have chapter headings are listed above.
Books without Chapter HeadingsMorning Thoughts has 366 pages. One for each day of the year including leap day. The pages are numbered but there are no headings, except for the date which is useful, but provides no insights to the reading's contents.
Blogs mentioning J.R. Miller or his works Other AuthorsBlack and Sheldon do not use chapter headings. On the other hand Barrie does, but there are only ten, so a separate index is not justified.
